South Downs Way Train Stations

With multiple train lines running to the South Downs, planning your next trip by train will be reasonably straight forward. With the South Downs' proximity to London, regular trains from Waterloo and Victoria should take between 60-90 Minutes to reach Winchester or Lewes.

These train stations are situated at gateways into the South Downs National Park. From Winchester and Lewes, you can catch a train deep into the South Downs and walk from Southease in the Ouse Valley, Amberly in the Arun Valley or Liss in Hampshire.

There are direct lines to Winchester from most major South Coast stations, including Southampton, Portsmouth and Bournemouth.
