What is our Partnership?
We partner with local businesses across the South Downs Way so they can use our site to provide the most up-to-date and useful information. Businesses can often provide better data about themselves than we can and data such as opening hours or menu prices can fluctuate across the year. Allowing our Partners to directly update this information keeps our content correct and our users happy.
If you own a small business somewhere along the South Downs Way, you can either claim ownership of a listing or request us to add you to our site. This will allow you to respond to questions users leave and update some information on your page.
Keeping listings up-to-date keeps customers happy- nobody likes to find things aren't quite as their expect. By working together, we can provide the local community with accurate, fair and helpful information allowing new visitors to have the smoothest experience of the Way and returning visitors to get a deeper knowledge of the area.

Members of our Local Business Partnership may pay a premium to have greater control over their pages and receive preferential ranking in searches. We offer affiliate status to all members of the Local Business Partnership and you can discuss this with your contact. Our honesty policy still applies to the content provided by affiliate members.

The accuracy and fairness of our information is our highest concern. All content on our site must follow our Honesty Policy that details what information is and isn't fair game. We never allow business to breach our Honesty Policy, even our sponsors. That's how you can know the information here is always the best it can be.
